Cheap Trick's Milestone Album Due Out This April
Cheap Trick's 20th studio album, 'In Another World' is due out April 9.
Formed in 1973, the veteran rockers will release their milestone album as a CD and in digital format, as well as an old school blue and spattered vinyl version, and a limited-edition picture disc.
Doing what Cheap Trick do best, In Another World, produced by longtime associate Julian Raymond, features the band's enduring style of oversized rockin' hooks, mischievous lyrics and their never ending abundance of energy.
A planned tour of the UK and North America to promote album 20 is set for later this year, after the coronavirus lockdown forced Cheap Trick off their “endless highway” for the longest period of the band's career.
“This band is held together by music," singer Robin Zander said. "It’s the super glue that keeps us writing and putting records out. The reason we started the band in the first place was to tour and write songs and put records out.”
As a tease for their up coming album they've dropped its first single, 'Light Up the Fire'.
